McCormick is seeking a few good Agricultural Independent Representatives who will be responsible for dealer recruitment in certain areas. The qualified candidates must have excellent prospecting and new business development skills. They must also have the ability to succeed in a competitive environment. The chosen candidate must have a solid work ethic. As an independent dealer recruiter, you will implement a top down sales approach targeting Presidents, CFO's and COO's to convert prospects into dealers. You are your own boss (contractor position).
Basic Requirements:
Must be self-motivated, disciplined and committed to Ag
Must have great customer service skills, "Customer is the reason for our existence attitude"
- Serve prospects in a courteous and respectful manner
- Travel to dealer's location
- Proven, experience in dealer development
You Will:
- Evaluate potential needs and present solutions through new equipment purchases
- Present the prospect with financial options and packages
- Establish and maintain a continuing relationship with the customer to insure a high level of interest
Must Have Requirements:
- A proven successful sales history in the Ag industry
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Good technical knowledge and skills with high tech Ag equipment
- Excellent time management and organization skills
