From the Desk of Rodney, CEO

Goodwill and Two “Good Ole Boys”

Rodney Miller and Harold ApplegateMy Friend Harold Applegate: I am fortunate to meet some really nice folks in my job and some "good ole boys", which I am thankful for. One of those folks is Harold Applegate of Vanceburg, Kentucky. He stopped by to see Max Armstrong and myself, at the National Farm Machinery Show recently in Louisville, KY. He talked to me for a long while sharing stories of the past about tractors and farming and life in general. Harold has had a full and fulfilling life. I love talking to guys like Harold and wish I could pull out all the great knowledge he has acquired in life so I could make better decisions. Thanks, Harold for making my life richer.

Michael and Darrell WilliamsFarewell to a Legend: One of the legends in the tractor industry and a true "good ole boy", Mr. Darrell Williams, recently passed away. He ran the farm at Sun Belt Expo in Moultrie, Georgia, for about 28 years. We at McCormick are fortunate to have known him and all the fine folks at The Sun Belt Expo including their Executive Director, Chip Blalock. A scholarship fund has been set up in honor of Mr. Williams. You can contribute, like we here at McCormick International have done by contacting Amy Willis at amy@sunbeltexpo.com.

Through one of our best dealers, Patrick Tractor in Tifton, Darrell Truett, Kyle Watts, Bucky Ferguson, Michael Williams & Bob PatrickGeorgia, we are pleased to help support the farm at Sun Belt with a great CX McCormick tractor and loader. Thanks to Bucky Ferguson, General Manager of Patrick Tractor, Bob Patrick, Owner of Patrick Tractor, a true legend in the tractor business and the other fine folks at Patrick Tractor who were instrumental in helping facilitate this endeavor in many ways. We hope the farm there at Sun Belt, now run by Darrell's son Michael Williams will continue for many years to come as well as the Expo itself.
